The compact and stylish Genelec 4020C active loudspeaker shares the same superior design with the Genelec 8000 Series monitors. Its controlled directivity allows the system to be easily installed in many types of acoustic environments, providing outstanding sound coverage.
As an active loudspeaker, it contains drivers, power amplifiers, active crossover filters and protection circuitry. The 4020C is designed for indoor use only and features Genelec Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™) circuitry which switches the loudspeaker to standby when no audio input is detected (ErP 2013 Directive).
Special colour options
The 4020C loudspeaker is available in 120 RAL colours to special order and will allow the loudspeaker to contribute to any interior design scheme of any type of fixed installation.

The natural finish of RAW models requires no painting and less finishing material. This creates an even more environmentally friendly loudspeaker that allows the pure beauty of the enclosure’s recycled aluminium to shine through – and makes every speaker unique. The RAW range features some of our best loved two-way designs for studio, AV and home applications.
All RAW models feature our timeless Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) design, developed in close collaboration with leading industrial designer Harri Koskinen. The curved form of its slimline enclosure delivers incredibly flat frequency response, precise imaging and unparalled acoustical performance. With flawless sound and stunning looks, RAW has it all.
RAL for Genelec 4000 and 4400 Smart IP loudspeakers
The standard colours for on-wall loudspeakers in the 4000 & 4400 series are black, white, and RAW – plus a selection of 120 RAL colour options. When ordering loudspeakers for AV installation projects, there is a RAL fee structure for each painted product. Quantity prices are available and these prices relate to products painted in one single RAL colour code, not mixed colours. Please use official RAL fan to determine colour before ordering. Since all custom colours are produced to order, they cannot be cancelled. Contact us to discuss RAL options and the fees involved.
