Repairs & Maintenance
All new items purchased from BIG BEAR SOUND come with a 12-month Irish warranty against manufacturer defects by default. In addition, many manufacturers offer extended warranties with their products to be purchased directly from themselves. Carefully read the documentation that is included with your product. Most manufacturers require you to register your product in order to make warranty claims.
Keep in mind that some manufacturers provide different warranty terms in different countries, so please always check with BIG BEAR SOUND as to what the Irish warranty is, as it may differ from the information provided on the manufacturer's website or the product's manual.
BIG BEAR SOUND can take care of the admin of any standard warranty issue for you of any product you purchase from BIG BEAR SOUND. If an item is faulty and under warranty, we can collect it from you, send it off to be repaired, and return it to you, usually at no extra cost. Please keep in mind that customers are responsible for packing any items being sent back, even under warranty, and BIG BEAR SOUND would not cover any packaging fees or provide any free-of-charge packaging.
Any warranty repair must be authorised in advance by BIG BEAR SOUND, and no labour or parts will be covered for unauthorised repairs. We have the right to refuse and void a warranty if the goods have been modified, altered, or repaired without previous BIG BEAR SOUND authorisation. Second-hand items bought from BIG BEAR SOUND do not have any warranty.
What Do I Do If I Discover A Fault?
Faulty goods, where a fault is due to a manufacturing defect, will be exchanged or refunded where possible within the first 30 days of purchase. After that time, and for the remainder of the warranty period, faulty goods will be repaired and returned as quickly as possible, free of charge (Ireland only).
Faulty goods can be collected from the customer provided that the goods are securely packaged for transit in the manufacturer's original packing or the same standard equivalent. Persistently faulty goods may be exchanged/refunded at the discretion of BIG BEAR SOUND LIMITED.
All faults due to misuse are not covered by any warranty.
Please fill out this RMA Form fully before sending a product back, products sent without a completed RMA Form will be refused. Full details of the returns process can be found on this form.
For items faulty upon arrival
Please carefully inspect all items on arrival. Do not sign for your package unless you are satisfied it has arrived in good condition. If you cannot inspect your package, include a message with your signature to note that the item had not been inspected when you signed for it.
If you believe your item has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours if the item has not arrived in good condition, sign for the goods as "Damaged" if possible.
For items that develop a fault at a later stage
If an item develops a fault within the warranty period and you need us to arrange a collection for repair, please contact us.
Outside the Warranty Period
If an item develops a fault outside the warranty period, you will need to speak to the manufacturer or supplier to determine the best way to fix the item. BIG BEAR SOUND are only able to coordinate repairs covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

As an Irish retailer, we can only offer warranty cover within Ireland.
