Digital Recording and Mixing with Analogue Gear Made Easy

The Studio Bridge multitrack recorder is quite literally the bridge between analogue mixing and digital recording – regardless of whether you use a DAW or not. Preserve the lush analogue tone from your mixing console while recording tracks with the DAW of your choice or with Studio Bridge itself. Either way, tracks can be returned to your analogue console for mix summing, turning digital recordings into warm analogue productions.

Whether you’re recording in a personal studio or in a live environment, the Tascam Studio Bridge serves as a link between your existing equipment, complementing it with the latest recording technology and ease of use in a rack-mountable format.

24-Track Recording Without a Computer

Connect your analogue mixer to the modular Studio Bridge recorder and easily record up to 24 audio tracks – no computer required. You can even record your stereo mix to the recorder and export stereo WAV files for release-ready productions.

24-In/24-Out Audio/MIDI Interface for DAWs

Tascam knows you want true analogue flavour on your DAW recordings, and we’re here to help. Your analogue mixer can easily connect to your DAW using the Studio Bridge as an audio interface with 24 inputs and outputs. You can record directly to any DAW and even create a summed mix using your console and outboard gear with audio returns.

DAW Transport Controller and Dedicated Meter Bridge Software

Studio Bridge also works as a DAW transport controller. Rec/Play/Stop and Rec Ready buttons link directly to your DAW for ease of use. The settings panel, available for Windows and macOS, includes a digital meter bridge so you can keep an eye on the audio levels of each track and the stereo master.

MIDI Synchronisation for Your Sequencers

With MIDI in/out ports, your favourite drum machines, sequencers, synths and controllers can easily be integrated into any production. Unlock your creativity with your go-to analogue hardware and the Studio Bridge.

Live Recording Applications

In live environments the Studio Bridge becomes your mobile recording studio when connected to your mixing console. Just one piece of gear – no complex system, no computer required.
