Windshield for short shotguns...or any mono mikes shorter than 21cm
The Reference PIANI-1 is composed of:
- Main cage and swivel two axis
- Mono Suspension Module: mic reference has to be spec'd when ordering
- 3D Primary fabric
- Fur: One to be chosen when ordering (FUR-LP: long piles; FUR-SP: short piles)
- Polycarbonate shell
Adaptable microphones with specific suspensions (quick exchange):
- Schoeps MiniCMIT, CMC, CMC+CUT1
- Sennheiser MKH8060, MKH40/50
- DPA 4017B, 4017C, 4018B, 4018C
- Neumann KM140/150 KM184/185
- Or every mike shorter than 21/22cm (please submit any reference).
Like PIANO, the PIANISSIMO cage cannot be removed, for the benefit of the lightness and quality of the cage suspension feature.
Due to its more recent design, PIANISSIMO gains in versatility compared to PIANO.
Designed in parallel with the E-OSIX suspensions, it accepts a wider variety of suspension modules than the PIANO. It also offers a wide range of MS, DMS and XY stereo combinations with many more customisable configurations than the PIANO.
In Mono version, PIANISSIMO can accommodate a large choice of E-OSIX 7,8 and 9 suspension modules with elliptical isolators (DPA4017B, Sennheiser MKH50, …) as well as adapted versions with clip on the front (MiniCMIT, DPA4017C, …).
The cross-isolator modules already used in the PIANO, based on cradles 5 and 6, can also be used and are better adapted for certain microphones (CMC6, MKH8060,…).
