What really sets these drum samples apart is the fact that they have been battle tested in actual, world-class metal album mixes for more than two decades. I know they will work well in many different scenarios because I’ve been using them every day.
These are not one-shots. I strongly believe in drum dynamics for natural sounding drums. In this pack, you will find that every sample has multiple velocity layers and round robins (multiple recordings at the same velocity/hardness). Avoid the dreaded machine-gun effect and let your drums come to life. Dynamic but consistent: it is possible to have it all!

What software do I need to use drum samples?
Our drum samples are made with the full version of Slate Trigger 2 in mind - the industry standard for triggering drum samples in a mix. It can trigger samples based on detecting transients or via MIDI.If you prefer not to use Slate Trigger, the Deluxe version includes a NKI instrument that works in the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt. We also include WAV files that you can use in any sampler you wish. Your DAW probably includes one.
Are these mixed or unprocessed?
Our drum samples are ready for mixing with no additional processing. After all, it is the Jens Bogren Signature pack and represents his ideal sound. For those that want to create their own balance, the Deluxe edition includes every individual microphone so you can set your own perfect blend.
