Deity Microphones will present three major additions to its production audio and timecode ecosystem at IBC 2026, which runs from 11 to 14 September at RAI Amsterdam. Visitors will be able to see the PR-2ii running production firmware with a range of new features, and get the first public look at the new Deity TC-2 timecode generator and the THEOS D4RX four-channel wireless slot receiver.
The PR-2ii will be shown running production firmware, giving IBC visitors a hands-on look at the recorder’s finished workflow. The TC-2 will make its first public appearance, introducing continuous wireless timecode and expanded timecode capabilities in Deity’s compact TC platform. Completing the trio, the D4RX brings a new approach to wireless audio reception, further expanding Deity’s production audio ecosystem.
The TC-2 builds on the compact form and straightforward operation of the TC-1 while expanding how productions distribute and manage timecode. Continuous Bluetooth timecode keeps other TC-2 units locked to the same reference point in real time, eliminating frame drift between units within wireless range. The TC-2 is also the first portable timecode box to offer native 120 fps timecode based on SMPTE ST 12-3, alongside USB-C ATC timecode.
The D4RX brings four-channel true-diversity reception to Deity’s THEOS wireless system, combining wideband 550-960 MHz tuning with encrypted digital audio, advanced RF filtering and remote transmitter control. Designed for production sound, broadcast and ENG workflows, its modular slot-in architecture provides four channels of audio and power through a single connection, making it easy to integrate into sound bags, cameras and field-recording setups.
