Big Bear Sound & Digital Garage Form Strategic Alliance to Service Broadcast & Post Production Markets in Ireland.
Dublin and Oxfordshire November 17th 2016 : Big Bear Sound, Ireland’s leading professional audio suppliers and integrators and Digital Garage, one of the UK’s leading broadcast and post production solution provider, today announced that they have formed a strategic alliance to serve the broadcast and post production markets in Ireland. Responding to the increasing diversity of production mediums and the growing demand for innovative technology in Ireland, this new venture will offer a comprehensive portfolio of leading-edge solutions and full service offerings to the Irish media and entertainment industries.
Operating out of Big Bear’s central Dublin offices, the alliance creates a new broadcast video and post production division within the Big Bear Group and brings Digital Garage’s wide ranging broadcast product portfolio,15 year track record in the UK industry, and their extensive technical expertise and resources to the Irish market. The collaboration also brings on board Stuart Lawn (former Co-owner & Technical Director of Tyrell), as Technical Director and Solutions Architect for the alliance.
Big Bear and Digital Garage will provide complete video and audio solutions from all of the major industry brands including Avid, Editshare, Content Agent, Broadcast Pix, Storage DNA, and Genelec. The collaboration sees the two companies create an end-to-end service, covering consultancy, sales, system design and integration through to technical support and maintenance. This will place the alliance in the unique position of being the most experienced system integrators and comprehensive providers of digital media solutions for post, broadcast and professional audio in Ireland.
